Privacy policy
Lu'um and Bloom LLC serves children, so we collect as little information as we can and we are direct about what happens to it. This page explains exactly that.

What we collect
When you submit an enrollment request we collect: the parent or guardian's name, email address, and optionally a phone number; the child's first name and age; the courses selected; whether tuition will be paid through a charter school or directly; and, when a charter school is involved, the name of that school and optionally the Educational Specialist. If a selected course includes an art kit, we also collect a shipping address — solely to deliver that kit.
What we do not collect
We do not collect a child's last name, date of birth, photograph, address, school records, or any health information through this website. We do not ask children to create accounts, and this site has no login. We never collect payment card details on this site.
Why we collect it
To confirm availability, to reserve a seat, to ship art kits, to prepare the documentation your charter school requires in order to issue a purchase order, and to answer you. Nothing else.
Who we share it with
Your charter school, when you have asked us to bill them — they require the student's name and the service details to issue a purchase order. Our shipping carrier, for the delivery address only. Our email provider, which transmits the message. We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it for behavioral advertising.
Children's information
We collect a child's first name and age only, always submitted by a parent or legal guardian who confirms that role when they submit the form. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child under 13.
How long we keep it
Enrollment records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the class and to satisfy the record-keeping a charter school requires for its own audits. Requests that do not become enrollments are deleted within twelve months.
Your rights
You may ask us what we hold about your family, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@luumandbloom.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are a California resident, you have these rights under the CCPA, and we will never charge you or treat you differently for exercising them.
Cookies and tracking
This website stores one preference in your browser: whether you chose light or dark mode. It is not used to identify or track you, and it never leaves your device. We do not run advertising trackers.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects information we already hold, we will email the address on file before the change takes effect.
